By accessing or using Stella Jensen, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

1.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Stella Jensen. By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.


2. Description of Services

Stella Jensen is an end-to-end equestrian management platform designed to streamline the coordination between riders, stables, instructors, and gear providers. The platform facilitates seamless bookings, communication, and operational logistics. Key features include:

3. Account Registration

3.1 Creating an Account

To use certain features of Stella Jensen, you must register an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Upon registration, each user is assigned a role based on how they interact with the Stella Jensen platform. These roles define the permissions, responsibilities, and features available to the user. The roles are as follows:

You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on your account, including stable details, instructor profiles, gear inventory, and user data.

5.1 Booking Process

Users can schedule horse riding lessons, stable experiences, and gear rentals directly through the Stella Jensen platform. The process is designed for clarity and ease:

5.2 Gear Purchases Outside Bookings

Beyond rentals, users can purchase horse riding gear via the Stella Jensen gear marketplace. These purchases can be shipped directly to any valid delivery address, regardless of whether a riding session is booked. All gear available for purchase on the platform is part of the official Jensen product line. We do not support third-party gear sales. Orders are fulfilled exclusively by verified Jensen gear vendors to ensure quality and authenticity.

6. Stable and Horse Management

6.1 Availability and Scheduling

Stables are fully responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date availability of their horses, instructors, and any associated gear (e.g., saddles, helmets). This includes ensuring that horses are fit and available for riding, instructors are scheduled and prepared, and any necessary gear is in stock and ready for use.

Users are strongly encouraged to verify all details, including instructor availability, horse readiness, and gear availability, before finalizing bookings. By proceeding with a booking, users acknowledge that they have confirmed the availability of these services.

6.2 Double Booking and Conflicts

The Stella Jensen platform includes built-in mechanisms designed to prevent double bookings and scheduling conflicts. Stables are responsible for ensuring their horses, instructors, photographers, and gear availability is accurately reflected in the stable overview. Stella Jensen automatically verifies the availability of these resources to prevent conflicts and double bookings.

Stables are required to keep their availability up-to-date to ensure that no overbooking occurs. If a scheduling conflict arises, the platform will automatically notify the user and provide alternative options.

In the rare event that a double booking or scheduling conflict prevents the user from receiving the full services of their booking (e.g., missing instructor, horse, or gear), the stable is obligated to offer a suitable resolution, such as:

Stella Jensen will facilitate the refund process and ensure that users receive fair compensation for verified issues in accordance with the platform’s Refund Policy.


7. Subscriptions and Recurring Services

7.1 Subscription Plans

Stella Jensen offers subscription plans directly to users and partners, providing access to platform-wide benefits such as enhanced features, discounts, and priority support. Subscriptions are managed exclusively by Stella Jensen and are not affiliated with any individual stable, instructor, or photographer.

8. Gear Rentals and Orders

8.1 Gear Listings and Control

All gear available for rent or purchase through the platform is part of the official Stella Jensen Product Catalog.

Gear sales pricing (for outright purchases) remains centrally controlled and non-editable by partners.

8.2 Inventory Management

All gear listed for rental must be sourced directly from Stella Jensen. Stables may only offer for rent gear that they have officially purchased through Stella Jensen. Inventory levels for rentals are maintained locally at each stable, but all products—descriptions, images, pricing, and specifications—are standardized and managed by Stella Jensen to ensure consistency and brand integrity.

8.3 Fulfillment and Returns

For purchased gear (non-rental items), Stella Jensen is solely responsible for order fulfillment, shipping, and customer satisfaction. All gear orders are fulfilled by approved Jensen vendors or directly from our warehouses.

For rented gear, fulfillment is carried out by the stable that owns the physical inventory.

Users are not required to coordinate with stables directly—gear inventory, availability, and return standards are enforced via the platform.


9. Insurance and Liability

9.1 Insurance Add-On

Stella Jensen does not provide default or automatic insurance coverage for users participating in horse riding sessions. However, users have the option to purchase an insurance add-on at the time of booking. This add-on is designed to provide additional protection in the event of an accident during a riding session booked through the platform.

Note: The insurance add-on must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added after the session is confirmed. Users are encouraged to review the full terms of the insurance policy, including coverage limits and exclusions, before proceeding with the purchase.

9.2 Partner Liability and Insurance Requirements

All partners—including but not limited to stables, instructors, photographers, and horse owners—are recognized as independent entities and are required to maintain their own valid and sufficient insurance coverage at all times. Such coverage must include, at a minimum:

Stella Jensen shall bear no responsibility or liability for any harm, loss, damage, injury, or incident occurring in connection with a partner’s services, equipment, animals, or premises, whether arising from negligence, omission, misconduct, or otherwise.

Note: Stella Jensen functions solely as a technology service provider that facilitates the discovery, scheduling, and management of equestrian services, gear rentals and purchases. We do not operate, manage, or control the physical environments, personnel, or equipment of any partner.

Note: Accordingly, Stella Jensen’s liability is expressly limited to services and products directly supplied and fulfilled by Stella Jensen. We do not provide or assume any liability for partner-operated services or locations.

Each partner is contractually obligated to promptly report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment losses that may affect rider safety or experience. Nevertheless, full operational responsibility and liability remain with the partner.

Limited Rider Coverage

Stella Jensen’s rider coverage, where offered, applies exclusively to services or gear that are directly provided or fulfilled by Stella Jensen. This coverage does not extend to third-party partner services, environments, or personnel.

The optional insurance add-on is available for all bookings. These are subject to separate terms and must be selected at the time of booking. Users are strongly encouraged to review the full Insurance Policy and to maintain their own insurance coverage as appropriate.

9.3 User Responsibility

Users participate in horse riding and related activities at their own risk. By booking a session, users agree to:

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings. Any outstanding transactions must be completed or canceled.

10.2 Termination by Stella Jensen

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable laws, or misuse the platform.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your data and bookings may be deleted. Any remaining balances will be settled as appropriate.


11. Privacy Policy

Your use of Stella Jensen is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.


12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, nor do we warrant the accuracy of listings or the conduct of other users.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stella Jensen is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or injury related to horse riding activities arranged through the platform.


14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stella Jensen, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims or damages arising out of your use of the platform, your violations of these Terms, or your conduct with other users.


15. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising from or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Iceland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By using the Stella Jensen platform, you agree that any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Reykjavík, Iceland.

Note: Notwithstanding the above, Stella Jensen reserves the right to bring proceedings in any competent jurisdiction where you reside, operate, or maintain assets, in order to enforce these Terms or seek equitable relief, including injunctive or protective orders.

This clause does not limit any statutory rights that may be available to users under the consumer protection laws of their country of residence, where applicable.


16. Changes to Terms

16.1 Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.

16.2 Notification

Where possible, we will notify users of significant changes through email or prominent notices on the platform.
